Since 1996, I have followed my passion and enthusiasm for teaching others how to move their bodies, and move with purpose. My clear and unique style of training and educating is easy to understand and more importantly, immediately increases your ability to execute at a higher level. This translating information in a useable way relates to clients, business owners, and fitness professionals. My career has taken me to 4 countries, 28 states, and countless cities. I always keep a foot in personal training and group training by keeping a small book of private clients and teaching group training classes. Little secret….I absolutely love coaching indoor cycling classes. Little secret #2….I am 53.

With all the private clients and students in group training, my corporate and director roles were the outlets in helping me deliver my passion to thousands of people. My almost 8 years with Orangetheory Fitness was an experience that changed my life, as I helped launch the first 350 locations as the Corporate Fitness and Education Director. My most recent role as Fitness and Education Director for GRIT BXNG in NYC is the most unique experience, as I built the training curriculum and workout structure and designs from ZERO. Kerry greatly assisted in the workout development piece over 2019.

Personally, I “most” always practice what I preach with over 30 years of training and competing in everything from mountain bike racing, triathlons, road cycling, rowing, strength training, running events and more. When I say “most”, I mean I have work - life balance issues just like the rest of you, at times. For the most part though, my last 30 years of exercise and training has left my body in good-to-great shape year around. Like you, I sometimes feel strong, fast, and amazing while other times, I wonder what the hell happened to me?

Lastly, I was born and raised on Louisiana and cherish my trips back home 3-4 time a year. The delicious and spicy food and lifestyle back home usually have me coming home to Florida “wondering what the hell happened to me?” In all seriousness, I always find time to get in at least 1-2 training sessions while I am there. Note to all of you: You can’t out train a bad diet if you’re 40+. Sorry.
